SCA welcomes Electoral Affairs Commission's Decision

The Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam, today (September 26) welcomed the decision made by the Electoral Affairs Commission to maintain the current polling hours of 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. for the District Council election to be held in November 2003.
Mr Lam said, " Maintaining the current polling hours will ensure that eligible voters can continue to exercise their voting rights conveniently. In overall terms, this will facilitate the smooth conduct of the election."
