HK delegation to attend liaison meeting on Pan-PRD co-operation in Sichuan

A Hong Kong Government delegation led by the Permanent Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Mr Clement Mak Ching-hung, left Hong Kong today (January 11) to attend the second liaison meeting among Secretaries-General on Pan-Pearl River Delta (PRD) co-operation in Leshan city, Sichuan.
The meeting will be held tomorrow and Thursday (January 13). Major agenda items include preparation for the second "Pan-PRD Regional Co-operation and Development Forum" and "Pan-PRD Regional Economic and Trade Co-operation Fair", and issues of common concern among members of Pan-PRD co-operation.
The region is made up of nine provinces - Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions (SARs).
The delegation comprises officials of the Constitutional Affairs Bureau and the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR in Beijing. Also joining the delegation is a representative from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
