SCA encourages HKFS to continue to express views on constitutional development

In response to press enquiries on the meeting between the Secretary for Constitutional Affairs. Mr Stephen Lam, and the representatives of the Hong Kong Federation of Students (HKFS) this (April 15) afternoon, a spokesman for the Constitutional Affairs Bureau said, "The Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam, thanked the HKFS for caring about Hong Kong's constitutional development and for conveying the results of a survey conducted in various tertiary institutions to the Government for consideration. Mr Lam said that the survey results would be included in the fifth report to be published by the Constitutional Development Task Force in the latter half of this year. Mr Lam encouraged the HKFS to continue to take an active part in the discussions after the publication of the report. He was happy to maintain a dialogue with the HKFS on the issue of constitutional development."
