Secretary for Constitutional Affairs visits Kwun Tong

The Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam, visited Kwun Tong this afternoon (January 25). He met about 35 district representatives, including District Council (DC) members, and listened to their views on local issues.
Mr Lam first visited the Kwun Tong DC, where the Chairman, Mr Chan Chung-bun, the Vice-chairlady, Ms Leung Fu-wing, and Kwun Tong District Officer, Ms Pauline Wong, briefed him on the characteristics of the district.
He later went on a walkabout in Yue Man Square, in which he chatted with shop operators. Staff of the Urban Renewal Authority also briefed him on the urban redevelopment programme in the area.
Mr Lam later visited a large shopping mall, where he talked to shop operators and residents. He then proceeded to Kwun Tong Community Centre to exchange views with DC members and representatives of the local community.
