Delegation visits Guizhou on Pan-PRD co-operation

A team of government officials from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), led by the Deputy Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Ms Grace Lui, left today (November 22) on a four-day visit to Guizhou.
The main objective of this visit, which is organised by the Constitutional Affairs Bureau (CAB), is to enhance understanding and foster closer working relations and communication between the two governments, with a view to promoting co-operation in the Pan-Pearl River Delta (Pan-PRD) region.
The Pan-PRD region includes nine Mainland provinces/region - Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan - and Hong Kong and Macau SARs.
The delegation comprises representatives from the CAB, Planning Department, the Office of the Government of the HKSAR in Beijing, Trade and Industry Department, Census and Statistics Department, and Labour Department. A representative from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council also joins the visit.
