The Government today (July 11) published the Green Paper on Constitutional Development for consulting the public on the options, roadmap and timetable for implementing universal suffrage for the Chief Executive and the Legislative Council.
Copies of the Green Paper are available for collection by the public at the 18 District Offices. The Green Paper has also been uploaded onto the website (www.cmab-gpcd.gov.hk).
The public are welcome to forward their views or specific proposals on or before October 10, 2007. They may send their submissions to the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau by post (address: 3/F, Main Wing, Central Government Offices, Lower Albert Road, Hong Kong), by fax (2523 3207), or via email (views@cmab-gpcd.gov.hk).
