The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO) in Taiwan announced today (April 9) that it had moved into its permanent office.
An HKETCO spokesman said, "Renovation work for the permanent office has been completed. After relocation, the HKETCO will be better placed to take forward its work on various fronts."
The HKETCO, which commenced operation in Taiwan on December 19, 2011, seeks to further strengthen the economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and Taiwan. At its initial stage of operation, the HKETCO was housed in a temporary office at 37/F of Taipei 101 Tower.
