The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, visited Kwun Tong District this afternoon (February 4) to get an update on the locality.
Accompanied by the Kwun Tong District Council (DC) Chairman, Mr Bunny Chan, and the District Officer (Kwun Tong), Mr Au Hing-yuen, Mr Tam started the visit at Sau Mau Ping Estate to see for himself the development of public housing in the district.
Mr Tam then proceeded to Yue Man Square to get an on-site understanding of the latest progress of the Kwun Tong Redevelopment Area (K7 Project). He also made a stop at Kwun Tong Promenade to learn about the Stage Two development of the waterfront promenade, after which he toured around the industrial area in How Ming Street, Hung To Road and Wai Yip Road.
Before concluding his visit, Mr Tam met with Kwun Tong DC Members in the DC conference room and exchanged views on a range of subjects concerning the district.
