The Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau will hold a parent-child carnival this Sunday (March 24) from 1pm to 5pm at the Piazza, Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui, to promote messages of the Basic Law to participants through lively performances and interactive games. Prize presentation for the Basic Law Parent-child Carnival 2013 Singing Contest will also be held at the carnival.
Participants can learn more about the Basic Law through the stall games and have chances to win prizes. There will also be a clown and magic show, parent-child workshops, an inflatable bouncer, photo-taking with a cute bear and an exhibition introducing the content and implementation of the Basic Law.
A number of artistes, including Nancy Sit, Wong Cho-lam, Dr David Lee, Kandy Wong, Robynn & Kendy, Honey Bees, Barry Ip, Purple Lee and Alicia Chan, will perform at the parent-child carnival. Admission is free. All are welcome and souvenirs will be distributed.
