The following is issued on behalf of the Secretariat to the Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Cooperation and Promotion Council:
The Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Cooperation and Promotion Council (ECCPC) and the Taiwan-Hong Kong Economic and Cultural Co-operation Council (THEC) will convene their sixth joint meeting in Hong Kong on September 17. The meeting will be co-chaired by the ECCPC Chairperson, Mr Charles Lee, and the THEC Chairman, Dr Lin Chu-chia.
The two Councils will review the achievements and progress made through this co-operative platform in the past year and explore new co-operation areas.
The ECCPC and the THEC were established in 2010 and have already conducted five joint meetings, taking forward co-operation on various fronts including economic, cultural, tourism and city management.
