| Taichung City delegation concludes visit to Hong Kong (with photos) |

The delegation from Taichung City, visiting Hong Kong at the invitation of the Hong Kong Government, concluded their visit to Hong Kong today (April 16). The delegation visited Ngong Ping under the arrangement of the Tourism Commission and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, after which they toured facilities at the Hong Kong International Airport under the arrangement of the Hong Kong Airport Authority. Delegates from the tourism sector also attended a lunch hosted by the Commissioner for Tourism, Miss Margaret Fong. Two performing troupes from Taichung, the Strings Quartet of the Taichung City Symphony Orchestra and the Jyou-Tian Folk Drum and Arts Group, had also come to Hong Kong together with the delegation. Their performance, arranged by the Government at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts this afternoon, was warmly received by the audience. The delegation concluded their visit and departed for Taichung City in the afternoon. Ends/Thursday, April 16, 2009
