Roving shows to promote Basic Law start on Saturday |
The Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau will organise a series of four roving shows in various districts this year to promote the Basic Law and to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its promulgation. The first roving show will be held on the first floor, Main Atrium, Tuen Mun Town Plaza, Tuen Mun, from 2pm to 3.10pm this Saturday (September 12). Admission is free and all are welcome. The Basic Law Roving Show aims to convey the message that the Basic Law is closely related to our daily lives in a lively and interactive manner. There will be an entertaining and informative exhibition to introduce the content and the implementation of the Basic Law to the public to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the Basic Law. The show will feature performances by entertainers Alex Fong, Niki Chow, at 17, Stephanie Cheng, Kary Ng and Hotcha. Apart from receiving souvenirs, the audience can also participate in Basic Law quizzes and win prizes. Ends/Thursday, September 10, 2009 |
