Basic Law Carnival to be held on Sunday

     The Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau and the Education Bureau will jointly hold a carnival on Sunday (December 19) to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the promulgation of the Basic Law. The carnival will take place from 12.30pm to 5pm at the Piazza, Kowloon Park, Tsim Sha Tsui. Through lively performances and interactive games, it aims to convey messages related to the Basic Law to participants.

     Prize presentations for the Basic Law T-Shirt Design Competition and the Basic Law Rap Song Competition will also be held. Models will showcase the winning T-shirt designs.

     Participants can learn more about the Basic Law through the stall games and win prizes. There will also be an exhibition introducing the content and implementation of the Basic Law.

     Entertainers, including Hins Cheung, Ella Koon, Vangie Tang, Juno Mak, Ken Hung, Terence Siufay and Fama will perform at the carnival. Admission is free. All are welcome and souvenirs will be distributed.
