| SCMA meets with Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region |

The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, met with the Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Automonous Region, Mr Zhang Xiaoqin, to exchange views on Guangxi-Hong Kong co-operation at the 10th Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Co-operation and Development Forum and Trade Fair. They agreed to foster co-operation in three specific areas, namely tourism, processing trade and professional services. Mr Tam said that there was huge market potential in Guangxi and ample room for co-operation between Guangxi and Hong Kong. He welcomed Guangxi to visit and step up its publicity in Hong Kong to facilitate enterprises to seize the business opportunities in Guangxi. Ends/Monday, October 13, 2014 |
