International intergovernmental organisations limited to states

These are organisations which allow only sovereign states to join as full members. In accordance with Article 152 of the Basic Law, representatives of the Government of the HKSAR may participate in these organizations, as members of delegations of the People's Republic of China, or in such other capacity as may be permitted by the Central People's Government and the international organisation concerned. Relevant examples are shown below:
